Getting to Nice Côte d'Azur airport is easy once you know a couple of basics about its two terminals and how to reach them.

Terminal 1 or Terminal 2?

The airport has two terminals, a few minutes apart and linked by a free shuttle. Terminal 2 handles most large carriers and long-haul flights, while Terminal 1 serves many low-cost and regional airlines. Always check your boarding pass before setting off — it saves a last-minute dash between the two.

Arriving by road

Coming from Cannes, Monaco or the wider Riviera, you reach the airport straight off the A8 motorway or along the seafront Promenade des Anglais. Signage to the terminals is clear, and the drop-off zone sits right in front of each one.

  • From the west (Cannes, Mougins): exit the A8 towards the airport
  • From the east (Monaco, Nice centre): follow the Promenade des Anglais
  • The drop-off zone is free for a short stop
